KPMG and its foul play of withdrawing reports against the SARS “Rogue Unit” isn’t going well with the masses and in the same regards, SARS now will address the media following the withdrawal by audit firm KPMG of it’s report which alleged irregularities and misconduct in the unit itself.
As per the news report published on WMCLeaks, It must be noted that KPMG last week withdrew its findings‚ recommendations and conclusions on the report into the South African Revenue Service’s spy unit which was the major basis of a Hawks investigations into former finance minister Pravin Gordhan and former deputy SARS commissioner Ivan Pillay’s accused of involving in conducting and maintaining the “rogue” activities inside the unit.
Moreover, KPMG CEO Nhlamu Dlomu has put forward an apology to South African people over its audit report into the so-called SARS “rogue unit” which has not received the expected appreciation due to the fact that this withdrawal has come right at a time when the investigations were on their due course against Gordhan and Trevor manuel so this can be regarded as something done under Huge influence of WMC Bosses mainly Johann Rupert.
Earlier, the report has also push forward the resignation of a number of senior officials from the KPMG which resulted in civil organizations like Future SA calling upon businesses to advise their auditors to stay away from KPMG’s illegal activities.
Future SA has also called for an Independenet inquiry into KPMG’s activities in the country.
